Welcome Message from the President

Akwaaba! Welcome to the Ghana Council of Georgia.

It is an honor to serve a community united by heritage, purpose, and a shared vision for the future.

The Ghana Council of Georgia, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that serves as a gateway for individuals, organizations, and interested parties seeking to establish connections within the Ghanaian community in Georgia.

The Council brings together Ghanaian-based nonprofit ethnic associations, community organizations, and business societies across the State of Georgia. Through representatives of our member associations, we work collectively to advance the mission and objectives of the Council, strengthen our community, celebrate our rich Ghanaian heritage, empower our youth, and build meaningful partnerships.

Through initiatives such as GhanaFest Atlanta, Ghana Independence Day celebrations, and our long-term vision for a Ghana House, we are creating opportunities to connect, serve, celebrate our culture, and preserve our legacy for future generations.

Explore our website to discover our member associations, programs, upcoming events, and ways to get involved. Join us, volunteer, partner with us, or support our initiatives as we build a stronger and more united Ghanaian community in Georgia.

Together, we honor our heritage, strengthen our community, and build our future.
